Great experience! Never thought you could have so much fun behind the wheel of a vehicle! Chris is an absolute legend and I couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable instructor to help me build up my confidence in rear wheel steering and navigating my way through the tracks. We had a great time with Chris at Ragged Edge! Chris was super helpful, clear with instructions and very patient given that he was teaching someone an entirely new set of skills in a short time and difficult environment. The different levels were challenging in their own right, though the second was my favourite as it gave me a good long chance to practise and troubleshoot. Would have loved another 15 minutes or so of driving, but apart from that, it was such a good experience. An added bonus was that each of my kids were able to have a turn in the passenger seat whilst I was driving. Highly recommend.

Had a great time today. Chris took each one of us on a trial drive so we could see how things worked then we had the opportunity to drive the course on our own. Chris walked ahead of us and gave us some much needed coaching along the way, it was quite different from driving a car with back and front steering. My husband drove with me as a passenger, and then my 18 year old daughter drove with our youngest daughter. I couldn’t hear screaming coming from the car so I think they both worked it out pretty well. In fact I was surprised by how well by daughter managed the course and she has only had her license for a month. It was a great experience. Different and challenging in a positive way.

My mate and I had an awesome time at Ragged Edge 4x4 at Avalon Raceway.Chris the instructor is fantastic and you can tell how passionate he is about his job and ensuring that anyone who visits gets the best possible experience.We did the Comp Package which involves three courses as well as a hot lap with Chris.Ragged Edge 4x4 gives you an experience you will never forget and allows you to do stuff that you never thought possible on four wheels.I would not hesitate to recommend this experience to anyone!

Ragged Edge Rock Crawlers and off road course was amazing. Great instructors, making it easy and fun! I really enjoyed learning to use the rear steer and also the course, lots of great angles and articulation for cool photos.

Absolutely amazing! 100% recommend this for anyone!It was a fun and challenging team work experience, including the passenger too helping with some of the controls and navigation challenges.Chris is a fantastic teacher and guides you through each course. We both felt very safe under his guidance (the guidance is 1000% necessary as the courses and driving are totally different to "normal" driving and even 4x4 driving).We did the full package, which took just over 2 hours to complete.We would recommend the full package, as it is so fun you'll want to do them all, and to experience the full challenge!I was a little worried it would be too similar to 4x4 driving, but this was not the case at all with how Chris's "cars" drive.Chris had great communication and emailed my booking confirmation straight after I booked, he sms'ed and emailed confirmation, and the day prior checked in with update for weather, what to bring etc.Thank you so much Chris for such a fun morning and making Aaron's birthday special 🥰
