How it works:
John Doe and Jane Doe are looking to do something special with their two kids Johnny, and Jeanie so they book a Ragged Edge Family Package.
On the day after waivers are signed and the drivers briefing is finished Jeanie, then Johnny gets a passenger lap with one of our Pro drivers followed by Jane and John. Next Jane takes Johnny for a drive and then John takes Jeanie for a drive so everyone gets a passenger lap with a pro driver and the two licensed drivers drive their kids.

Nicole Smith wants to book an experience for her husband Nick, her son Noah (20) and her daughter Naomi (15) so she books a Ragged Edge Family Package.
One the day all four participants sign waiver forms, listen to the drivers briefing and get a passenger lap with our Pro driver. Next Nick jumps in the driver’s seat and takes Nicole for a drive then Noah takes Naomi for a spin all under the guidance of one of our instructors.

The track:

RAZORBACK – This is a tight track with lots of rear steering. A great track to get your head around how to drive these amazing 4x4s.

Essential info:

Drivers must be fluent in English.
Drivers must have a drivers licence (P plate, expired or international is fine).
Max weight 140 kgs per person. Max height 208 cms. Min height for drivers 160 cms.
Passengers must be at least 8 years old.
Allow 60 mins for this experience. Times may vary depending on group size and track conditions.

Family Package days/times:
• Mondays & Thursdays: 1pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm
• Fridays: 10am, noon, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm
• Weekends: 10am, noon, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm

I have been to this experience twice now and I did all the tracks both times, the night time experience is something I highly recommend more than anything

Once again Chris was the best possible instructor I could have possibly ask for, perfectly balanced professionalism and ability to crack jokes and have fun, I have been able to pick up the ability to drive these cars quite easily due to the way he handles it all.

For anyone wondering if they should try this out, you'd be silly to miss out on something so fun, I can't rate this highly enough with only 5 stars, even travelling about 2 hours to get there I would gladly go even a 3rd and a 4th time hell I wanna go as many times as I physically can.
Cannot wait to get back behind the wheel with Chris giving me fun and challenging lines to conquer and get vertical on.

We had the best experience with Chris, it's a very personal one on one experience, even though you get some extreme angles you never feel out of depth or lack of Instruction. It makes you feel very safe and wanting to push it much further than you could ever imagine. If your considering this experience don't over think it. Book it and go. You won't regret it.

Great experience! Never thought you could have so much fun behind the wheel of a vehicle! Chris is an absolute legend and I couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable instructor to help me build up my confidence in rear wheel steering and navigating my way through the tracks. Perfectly balances professionalism and genuine fun attitude to make a genuinely unforgettable experience.

TLDR;
Best instructor, took me from not being able to figure 8 to going vertical and crab walking everywhere in 2 hrs

150/10 will be going back for sure

We had a great time with Chris at Ragged Edge! Chris was super helpful, clear with instructions and very patient given that he was teaching someone an entirely new set of skills in a short time and difficult environment. The different levels were challenging in their own right, though the second was my favourite as it gave me a good long chance to practise and troubleshoot. Would have loved another 15 minutes or so of driving, but apart from that, it was such a good experience. An added bonus was that each of my kids were able to have a turn in the passenger seat whilst I was driving. Highly recommend.

This was a fantastic experience. A very unique vehicle that is lots of fun to drive and there is plenty of opportunity to drive the vehicle over different terrain. Well worth it and I have no hesitation in recommending for others
